Day Three!


Okay I've found a new way to post, after today I will just snap a photo on my blackberry and it will upload real time as I'm eating the various items! I tried it with the pear I had for a snack early today and this will help speed up my blog entries!

Breakfast just cereal with flax and 1/2 a banana, I was in a hurry! 240 Calories and for a snack a pear 81 Calories.

I didn't really eat lunch today, I had an apple 55 Calories and piece of banana bread 144 Calories and a hot chocolate from starbucks 330 Calories, throughout the day.



The best thing I had all day was by far diner! This soup is unreal, Roasted Cauliflower Soup (image and recipe from Fat Free Vegan blog, seriously try it!) it tastes like it's loaded with cream and cheese, is only made with vegetables and is 45 Calories! That was it, my entire diner was 45 Calories! I actually made a variation on the soup i used sweet potato and a white potato. So it maybe more calories, hell lets double it and say I had 90 Calories! I also had one square of hazelnut chocolate 35 Calories for a tiny boost of energy before volleyball, because my stomach was rumbling!


I also went to the gym this morning for an hour, burned 620 Calories, went to volleyball tonight, and ran the track for a warm up, 350 Calories burned. So know wonder I'm starving as I type this, I worked off 970 and only consumed 975 Calories! It's really neat to see it laid out for me, it explains a lot! And it was a crazy busy day for me I KNOW I burned a tonne of calories just going about my day. Normally today is a crazy big calorie day for me, Wednesday night after volleyball we go to Montanas for crazy stuff like wings and a milk shake (everyone else has beer, but I'm not one much for alcohol). Tonight I skipped it partially because it was the late game, partly because of the blog, and mostly because I had to come home and put my kit online for Created With Paper's launch tomorrow.

Day Two, Deja Vu!



Okay today's eating looks a lot like yesterday but I was happy with my day Monday, so I guess that's good, breakfast was Blueberry, Yogurt Granola, 400 Calories, no need to repost the same picture. Lunch (above) was a little different, I skipped the carbs and had cucumber instead of carrots with the hummus, tomatos and peas. So only 300 Calories.

I made this yummy Blueberry Banana Loaf (image from her site), check out the Fat Free Vegan blog for fantastic recipies! My daughter is lactose intolerent so it's great for alternatives to milk, plus she uses whole wheat! I only had half a slice with butter, so 72 Calories.

It was super busy day, I went to the gym this morning, 600 Calories burned, then took my daughter to see the backyardagains (great production!). Got my husband and son off to speedskating, then had this Oriental Chicken Salad for dinner. I had to approximate the calories, 575, since it's my own creation.



I ended the evening with a night of volleyball, another 300 Calories burned there. I am hungry as I type, but it's too late to eat. So I'll just relax with a show and go to bed after that. Today I consumed a total of 1372 Calories, and exercised 900 Calories, so that equals 472 Calories. Very close to yesterday.

Day One!

So today was a good day, I'm happy with what I ate. I consumed a total of 1291 Calories, and burned 671 Calories at the gym. So that gives me a difference of 620 Calories. Here is what the day looked like:


Breakfast: 400 calories
2/3 cup granola
1/4 cup wild blueberries
1/2 cup french vanilla yogurt
sprinkle fresh ground flax seed
Water

This was so yummy, it tasted like blueberry cheesecake! It was to much to have at once, I ate it in two sittings. It was super filling though, I had a busy day and brought an apple to snack on before lunch and didn't even eat it, I wasn't hungry even though it was 2:30 before I had lunch!

Gym: 1 hour
-671 Calories on Elliptical Edge




Lunch: 561 Calories
3/4 cup Hummus
1 cup peas
1 carrot
6 cherry tomatoes
1/4 nann bread
Water

This was great too, I love how hummus feels like carbs, but it's actually chick peas, it filled me up the picture show 1/2 a nann bread but I only ate 1/4, I didn't need the other 1/4 so I left it.

Sorry not a great picture, here was dinner, it was at 6:00 so I wasn't super hungry because I'd had a late lunch.

Dinner: 330 Calories
Flat Crust Peperoni Pizza
Italian Salad Dressing (1 tbsp) Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber and almond slices.
Water

So now it's evening, my main snacking time, but I've already posted for the day, so no more calories..I think I'll have a herbal tea to cap off the night.
