Food Inc

Watched the movie this weekend and it's hard to look at food the same way especially meat, which is a good thing. We went grocery shopping primarily at the farmer's market and the health food store. I think one of the reasons I've lost weight kept it off and continue to loss is because my focus has changed from what I should eat away from what I can't eat.

Breakfast smoothie. I miss I pic of dinner we had roast beef potatoes carrots yorkshire pudding and gravy. I had very little I wasn't really hungry. I skipped blueberry pie even and went to play an hour and half of competitive volleyball so fun!

10 pounds lost!

It's funny to have posted my latest eats...chocolate, and then to follow up with an update of 10
Pounds lost on my side bar, but it's true, treats and all I've still managed to lose weight! I've learned a lot about eating, and I'm making great choice and few not so great choices, but the good out weigh the bad for sure. For the most part I'm proud of my new lifestyle. The exercise has always been easy so that helps that I get at it once sometimes twice a day! Like today, did an hour of cardio and will go tonight, run the track for about a half hour before I play an hour of Volleyball. Plus I've found keeping busy at night with fun filled light exercise has a dual benefit because it stops me from munching in front of the tv! Could be one of my favourite pass times, but it's been limted as of late. In 3 weeks I've only snacked after super once or twice a week, it's my goal to not do it at all, but I'm happy with it so far.

So for now I'm the weight I was before I had kids, which is great..now 10 more pounds would put me at my weight before I was married! And even though I'm happy with my current weight, I will continue on this healthy lifestyle path and see what weight I end up maintaining.
